Kingman Training Pistols and Handguns

Here is the video and press release for the new Kingman Training Pistols. We want to hear about your thoughts? Will this pistol rival Tippmann's new TPX release? More shots per 12 G CO2 is definitely a plus. These paintball guns feel good. They are a little more compact and should be a lot of fun to use. There are a lot of planned accessories and the kit comes with CO2 cartridges, some .43 caliber paintballs and one magazine. For those of you in Canada, unfortunately, .43 caliber paintball guns are not allowed in Canada due to current firearms regulations. To see the specifications of these guns, Click Here!

Well you are wrong about .43 in Canada, since plenty of online stores in Canada are selling the Eraser and Chaser. So NO they are NOT prohibited, they are only prohibited if they are too much like a real pistol. Like the Rap4 .43 Glock, Deagle and the such.

We are not wrong as you suggest. We spent several weeks researching this when the Alpha Black's were getting confiscated by the Canadian Border Security Agency. We spoke with several customs officials and an actual Firearms Control Officer. The official ruling is that .43 caliber is prohibited to cross the border because this size if pistol, whether it looks like an actual firearm model or not, is considered a replica firearm due to is size approximation to real firearms. The words they used is that even trained officers have a very difficult time distinguishing if it could be a real gun or not and if someone was pointing one at a police officer, it is likely they would consider shooting to kill if fired upon.

He then went on to say that the only approved paintball guns are .68 caliber.

Now you can buy pot and cocaine in Canada too and this does not make it legal does it? Just because someone is selling them there, does not mean they are actually legal.

From our experience, you probably could ship them without confiscation, but it is the buyer's risk. In addition, we were given clear instruction not to ship .43 caliber to Canada as it is illegal.

few stores have said it was illegal but many stores are selling them and the have never had any problems, almost any woods ball gun could get confiscated by customs but as long as you dont walk into 711 with it u should be fine

We had heard that one toy company that was importing replica firearms was fined thousands of dollars for repeatedly trying to import illegal guns. This is something that Red Dot Paintball will not risk. Secondly, the difference in your statement is subtle but very important. 0.68 Caliber paintball guns less than 500 feet per second in velocity are legal in Canada. While there has been some problem with confiscation of Alpha Blacks, if you use a proper customs clearance, there is no problem.

Contrary to the .43 Caliber that is specifically been named and challenged in the courts. The companies have lost. So again we make the point, just because you can get away with selling something, does not make it legal. 0.68 caliber paintball guns are legal.
